The 20th Doha Forum will hold immense participation, involving the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is scheduled to open the Forum today at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.

The two-day event will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including government representatives, ministers, ambassadors, activists, corporate executives, administrators, and academia, according to the organizers' website. The Doha Forum is a worldwide debate forum that brings together policymakers to address the world's most pressing issues and to establish innovative and action-oriented networks.

Over time, the #DohaForum has grown into a global platform for diplomacy, dialogue, and development, serving as a forum for discussing solutions to global concerns. "The globe recovers from the most comprehensive disruption to the global economy since World War 2," says the 2022 theme, "Transforming for a New Era."

For the first time since the pandemic, this year's event will be attended, providing a true opportunity for open communication between various sectors in order to find realistic answers to global concerns.

Geopolitical alliances and inter-national interactions will be discussed, as well as the financial system and economic development, defense, cyber and food security, climate change, and sustainability.

The nearly 200 million COVID-19 instances globally, the millions of deaths recorded, and the lives affected, according to organizers, are compelling reasons for policies and actions to save lives and prevent permanent economic, social, emotional, and mental harm.

China's and Russia's expanding influence in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, the European Union's fight to keep its politics together, and the state of global politics will all be discussed.

The Climate Conversation: Climate Financing — Kigali, Rwanda, Transforming for a New Era, Misinformation and the War for Truth, Post-Pandemic Africa, Litigation to Enforcement: Mobilizing the Rule of Law in Response to the Climate Crisis, Energy Transition and Security: Meeting Demand in a Volatile World, A Clean Future for Natural Gas, Afghanistan and the Question of Representation, and One-on-One with Hassan Al Thawadi, among many others.

The Doha Forum was last held in Doha in December 2019, with 243 speakers, 142 nationalities, 300 media representatives, and over a hundred bilateral encounters.
