Make 2018 a year to remember and try something new and different every week (or every second week if you’d rather). Here at QL we’ve compiled a list of must-tries for anyone living or staying in this wonderful country, or anywhere really, for the next few months. And remember, April is QL's Entertainment and Travel Month, so expect some interesting recommendations to come your way.
Week 13 (April 4 to 10)

Another week, another major sporting event. This time, it is the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia. There are many who argue the competitions have far outlived their significance and that it should be relegated to the sidelines. But it still garners big participation and remains a huge draw.
Week 14 (April 11 to 17)

If you are a history buff, then perhaps you should pay a visit to the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum. The private initiative is divided into different sections, including one for cars, carpets and artefacts from the Jurassic age until the early Islamic period. It’s going to take some time to see it all.
Week 15 (April 18 to 24)

Check out the paragliders who frequent the Sealine Beach Resort. Just seeing them in action is a thrill in itself. If you have a never-say-die attitude, perhaps you may even get to ride on one of them yourself. Now who wouldn’t like that?
Week 16 (April 25 to May 1)

Have you been to the Katara Cultural Village yet? If not, this is the perfect time to go. It is another throwback to Qatar’s early history. There is an awesome beach where you can engage in water sports activities and there are several art galleries that can satisfy the art lover in you.
