The Amiri Diwan announced via twitter today, that on the ocassion of Qatar National Day, Sunday, December 18 will be an official holiday.

Qatar's National Day which falls on December 18, is commemorated annually with a week long celebration featuring multiple events, attractions and fireworks across the country. 

This year's national day celebrations will coincide with the final of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ that commenced on November 20, this year.
