The tenth edition of the Al Khor Fly-In will be held on Friday and Saturday (February 10 and 11) at the Al Khor Airport.
The annual event, which has grown by leaps and bounds since its launch a decade ago, promises flying enthusiasts with a great opportunity to see some mean machines in action, reported The Peninsula.
The event, organised by Civil Aviation Authority in collaboration with the Qatar Flying Club, promises to be a fun outing for the entire family.
The event will provide orientation about the most recent aviation elements and concepts within an entertaining, educational and family-friendly atmosphere.
The Fly0-In will feature formation flying, aerobatic shows, paramotor shows, gyrocopter and light aircraft show, R-C models and free flying.
There will be special entertainment for children, heritage activities and food outlets for the visitors.
The event aims to motivate and promote aviation as a sport and hobby to the youth and public. It is also considered a get-together of pilots to enjoy flying. Pilots from Qatar as well as other GCC countries will be in attendance.
