If you are a regular traveller along the Al Waab street, then prepare for some disruptions in the coming days.
Ashghal has announced the setting up of a partial diversion, between Al Suwaidi and Mehairja intersections, in two phases, beginning on Sunday, December 23.

In the first phase, traffic from Muaither heading towards Al Sadd will be shifted from the main carriageway onto a parallel road with three lanes in each direction. The diversion will be over a 1km distance, between Mehairja Intersection and Al Waab Intersection.
In the second phase that begins on December 31, traffic coming from Al Sadd heading towards Muaither will be shifted from the main carriageway onto a parallel road with three lanes in each direction, according to Qatar Tribune.
