Eid al-Fitr is kickstarted with the beginning of the Eid prayers approximately 15 minutes post sunrise. Thousands of worshippers flock to the destined mosques for Eid prayers along with families and children in order to partake in the spirit of the festival and feel a sense of community. The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affair has released the list of mosques across Qatar to be hosting the Eid salah.

According to the Ministry of Awqaf, the Eid al-Fitr 2022 prayer is to be held across mosques and prayer grounds in Qatar a few minutes post sunrise. The Ministry has also released a list of said mosques and prayer grounds where Eid prayers are to be held that year. Thousands of people congregate at these mosques including the Imam Abdul Wahab Grand Mosque to pray the Eid namaz.

Additionally, three mosques are intending to have the Eid Khutbah in English. These include FANAR Mosque, Costa Fayrouz Mosque (Pearl Qatar), and Aspire Mosque.
