Borders has opened its doors exclusively at Doha Festival City! The highly anticipated store is a one-stop shop for everyone, catering to all age groups with a variety of products such as books, magazines, toys, games and stationery. Borders is also home to Doha Festival City’s fourth Starbucks.

Since the first store opened in 2006, Borders has since made it their mission to be the preferred choice for knowledge and entertainment in the Gulf Region. Book lovers will be spoilt for choice with the store’s wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles. If you're not much of a reader, the store also sells a wide variety of other products.

Trevor Hill, General Manager, Doha Festival City Mall pointed out that, “Borders is a great addition to our carefully selected range of brands and entertainment and we believe that the quality of the offering they bring will speak for itself – in terms of their product, customer service and their in-store events.

We are very excited to be opening the first one here in Qatar and believe they will be very well received by our visitors.”

Borders is also well known for its in-store author appearances and has previously welcomed numerous high-profile individuals including John Gray, author of ‘Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’, Jack Cannfield, author of the ‘Chicken Soup’ series, and Dougg Lipp, author of ‘Disney U’.

They have also hosted speaking events with CEOs from the region ranging from Mr. Khalaf Al Habtoor to politicians such as Dr. Shashi Tharoor.
