The new season of Doha Festival City’s FFTV fashion TV series has announced that their new season will be dedicated to sustainability in fashion, in line with Qatar Sustainability Week.
The first episode on November 1 featured Juliana Heide, an image consultant, and a personal and retail stylist, showcasing Doha Festival City’s premium shopping experience, latest fashion trends for this season, and the mall’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.
‘& Other Stories’ is a fashion outlet located on the ground floor at DFC and was founded by a group of creative individuals in 2010. Heide highlighted the store’s sustainable offerings and chose her favorite outfit.

At '& Other Stories', creativity and inspiration are deeply emphasized as they aim to give women the freedom of expression through their brand. Moreover, they plan for all their materials to be either recycled or sourced by the year 2030. Some of their products feature the incorporation of 100 percent sustainably sourced cotton, the first vegan shoes made of VEGA, and using recycled plastic to make bottles.
According to Robert Hall, General Manager at DFC, “Doha Festival City has been committed to sustainability since its inception. The Mall strives to deliver environmentally conscious solutions wherever possible for the well-being of today and tomorrow’s generations. In collaboration with one of Doha’s well-known fashion and lifestyle personalities, we hope that this special episode will raise awareness on the significance of sustainable fashion and inspire our visitors to consider introducing sustainable pieces into their wardrobes”.
The mall has also received a Level 3 certification by the Global Sustainability Assessment System, making them the first sustainable mall in Qatar. The mall has managed to reduce water consumption levels with highly efficient faucets and sanitary fixtures, proposed viable strategies to avoid waterway contamination, and have adopted natural cooling techniques to save energy.
FFTV’s next episode will feature fashion influencer Nickii Jean who will visit TALLY WEiJL and showcase their Fall-Winter collection. Additionally, she will select her favorite pieces and share her views on the perfect style for varying occasions.
Doha Festival City is open from Saturday to Wednesday from 10 am to 10 pm, and Thursday to Friday from 10 am to 11 pm. It has taken all the necessary steps to ensure the best and safe customer shopping experience and also have checkpoints for checking body temperature and Ehteraz. Make sure you wear your mask and have a ‘green status’ when visiting the mall.
