The Doha International Coffee Exhibition (DICE) 2023 is all set to happen next week in DECC from September 14 to 16, 2023. This is the very first edition of the exhibition, which aims to attract visitors including coffee connoisseurs, professionals, and coffee and Horeca industry suppliers from the global specialty coffee community.

Prepare to witness a dynamic display of coffee culture, coffee practices, education, and innovation in this seasoned coffee festival that has enthralled coffee lovers for over a decade in other countries.

History of the exhibition

The exhibition has led successful runs in the coffee festivals of Paris, London and Amsterdam, and will now explore the first edition in Doha. The event is brought to Doha by Qatar Specialty Coffee Association (QATSCA) and has garnered quite a good response from coffee enthusiasts around the world.

The exhibition started with 4,000 visitors and 60 exhibitors six years ago and the last season witnessed over 12,000 visitors with more than 340 exhibitors. DICE 2023 is expected to witness massive footfall from visitors including coffee enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, retailers, and suppliers along with the general public. 

Highlights of DICE 2023

The coffee festival is nothing short of a coffee haven and it is definitely an experience to add to your list when in Doha this week. Here are just some of the festival highlights to expect at the Doha International Coffee Festival

Qatar National Coffee Championships and various competitive challenges are expected to happen throughout the festival. Visitors may immerse themselves in the world of roasting, brewing and coffee tasting at the Roaster’s Village where they get to meet micro-roasters and fellow coffee lovers.

A brew and espresso bar will also be available where visitors can watch skilled baristas prepare coffee beverages for you to sample. Several booths around the exhibition will showcase new products and unique services, which have the potential to win QATSCA awards. Exhibitors also can win best booth design awards by distinguishing themselves from other coffee booths.
