The system upgrade will increase the network capacity, allowing more trains to operate and providing more frequent services to customers in the future.
To minimize the inconvenience of the commuters, Doha metro has chosen dates that historically carried the fewest passengers.
From June 30, Doha Metro has resumed its Metrolink services on four specific routes.
Metrolink is a feeder bus network providing first and last-mile connectivity to Qatar Rail customers within a 2-to-5-kilometer radius of the Doha Metro stations for free.
Metrolink resumed its services at the following routes; Al Wakra (M132), Oqba Ibn Nafie (M123), Umm Ghuwailina (M139), and Al Doha Al Jadeda (M114).
