The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has released a guide to answering queries about EHTERAZ and also reminded the public that they will lose their Gold frame (immunized) status if their last dose was more than nine months ago.
The guide released by MoPH clarifies the different use of colors in the Ehteraz health status.

Users who have tested positive after a Rapid antigen or PCR test will have a red status on their Ehteraz. Yellow status is displayed if the user is in quarantine or has tested as reactive for Covid-19 after PCR testing. Green status is for users who currently don’t have Covid19. The grey status is for suspected users who are awaiting PCR test results.
The Gold frame will appear for all users vaccinated with two doses and whose last dose was not more than nine months ago. Receiving the third booster dose will guarantee gold frame status for a further nine months for all Ehteraz users.
The Covid-19 test status details will also be displayed alongside the colored QR codes. The details will include health card number, the last test date, results (the number of days passed since last negative PCR), and recovered date (in case of people who have recovered from infection)
MoPH also clarified that those who have recovered from Covid-19 will be accorded the same privileges as vaccinated people for a further nine months from the date of recovery, after which they are required to get their booster shots. However, they shall not be receiving the Gold frame status but can show the recovery date to concerned authorities.
All visitors and residents in Qatar must have Ehteraz installed on their phones as a mandate.
