Get ready for a range of events and festivities lined up this Eid. Some events are already underway and will continue for a month, while Eid Al Fitr events will start from the first day of Eid. This year Eid Al Fitr is being celebrated under the banner of “Capture Joy”.
These festivities will be held at various locations in Qatar, including Al Khor Mall, Dar AL Salam Mall, City Centre Doha, Ezdan Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Katara, Aspire Zone, to name a few.


Eidieh festival
Date: 18 June – 30 July

Venue: Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC)
Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in collaboration with the Ramadan Tourist Festival Eidiah is presenting a festival which is ongoing nowadays up till July 30. The festival includes cultural heritage bazaars, unique gift shops, playground for kids, henna decorators, weavers and fishermen, fun/educational activities for children and cultural performances Arab cuisine kiosks, and also religious events and lectures.
The Pearl Qatar
Date: 8 July – 10 July

Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated at Medina Centrale with Eid oriented themes such as game booths, a drawing and coloring station, stilt walkers, face painting, clowns, balloon twisting and decorations, and mascots, among others. Delicious edibles will be distributed, like popcorn, cotton candy and ice-cream.
Bazar Souq Maqtoora, The Pearl Qatar

The 'Maktoora' market at The Pearl will focus on Qatari start-up enterprises, including food, fashion items, perfumes, jewellery, accessories, drawings and creative designs

Katara Eid Al Fitr Festival, A Kid’s dream
Date: 6 July and 9 July
Time: 07:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Venue: Katara Beach 18
On Eid Al Fitr, Katara will feature celebrations under the theme of ‘A Kid’s Dream’. Make kids’ dreams come true and participate in these events hosted at Katara Beach. Eidiyah or gifts will be distributed among children after the scheduled shows. Make sure the kids make the best of Eid with these colorful plays and gifts. The event is scheduled as follows:

Muhammad Ali: Tribute to a legend

Venue: Museum of Islamic Art, Eastern Gallery, 4th Floor
The Museum of Islamic Art Qatar in alliance with 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum will display this tribute to the legend Muhammad Ali. It will present the photography from 1971 when he visited Qatar, and mementos from various fights and journeys throughout his career. It will also feature an iconic comic book. In 1978 a comic book was published featuring Superman vs Muhammad Ali, and was signed by Muhammad Ali himself.

Qatar Foundation will hold Eid celebrations at the Education City Clubhouse with a variety of arts and crafts events for children.
Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani Museum

Venue: Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani Museum, Al Rayyan.
Sheikh Faisal Museum will offer free tours from the first day of Eid. The museum showcases interesting collection of artifacts of Qatari culture, vehicles, armory, old vessels and geological relics.

Al Dosari Zoo and Game Reserve, Curio sculpture exhibition

Al Dosari Zoo and Game Reserve will be open for sightseeing tours on Eid.
An intriguing exhibition of sculptures created from bath soap will be on display at the Dosari Park. Bath soap sculptures by Biju CG will be presented on the second day of Eid, for five days.

Get a taste of China in this food and culture festival. There are live performances showcasing the Chinese culture and stations of Chinese food where you can eat the authentic cuisine.
The Chinese performers display their stunts, and the food festival will continue up to July 6.

Eid kayaking in the mangroves

Discover Arabia brings an exciting Eid Kayaking Festival. They are offering ten days in the desert with family and friends. Up to thirty people can reserve a spot on each tour.
Sealine Beach

The Qatar Air Sports Committee will offer Aerial Paragliding Tours at Sealine Beach for adults (18 and above) at QAR250 per person.

Summer festival
Date: 1 August – 31 August
This year the Summer Festival will launch from August. The Qatar Summer Festival (QSF) will host festivities like the last three times. The festival has made hotel stays tourist friendly and welcomes residents of Qatar to enjoy the hospitality sector as well. Special packages at affordable rates have been organized, along with incentives like free breakfasts, late checkouts, and free meals for children.
The Entertainment City will return at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), under the theme of “Color Your Summer”, with many attractions like comedy shows, concerts, and sports events.
