The Emiri Diwan has announced the dates of Eid Al Adha holidays for ministries, government departments and public institutions.

According to the announcement, Eid holiday for ministries and other government entities and public institutions will start on Thursday, August 31 (Dhul Hijja 9, 1438 H) and will last until Thursday, September 7, 2017 (Dhul Hijja 16, 1438 H), according to The Peninsula.

Employees will resume normal work on Sunday, September 10,(Dhul Hijja 19, 1438 H).

Meanwhile, the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced that all banks in the country will remain closed for Eid Holidays from August 31 to Tuesday, September 5. The banks will reopen for business on Wednesday, September 6.

The noticehad been signed off by QCB Governor HE Sheikh Abdulla Bin Saoud Al Thani.
