Liwan Open Day and Exhibition

If you enjoy arts and design, head over to Liwan Design Studios and Labs to explore the latest multidisciplinary design experiments and innovative research projects initiated at Liwan. At Liwan you can enjoy exhibits on display at the Edible Labs, Food, Culture and Design Exhibition, check out a new display of iconic sneakers and artefacts by SOLEQTR, explore a variety of items from Liwan’s latest experimental workshops and much more. The open day and exhibition is free to attend and will take place at the Liwan Design Studios and Labs.

Build Your House Exhibition

The fourth edition of the Build Your House Exhibition is all set to take place from May 15-18 at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) featuring over 200 exhibits. The exhibition focusses on the design, construction and renovation needs of Qatari nationals. The exhibition gives you the opportunity to meet with a large number of Qataris, learn about new products and gain an understanding about the construction industry in Qatar.

Buone Nuove: Women Changing Architecture

Discover the women architects who have helped design some of the most popular buildings in Qatar and Italy amongst others, at the Buone Nuove Exhibition in Msheireb Downtown Doha. Unveiled by Msheireb Properties, the ‘Buono Nuove: Women Changing Architecture’ exhibition highlights the role that women play in modern and contemporary architecture, featuring practices in Italy, Qatar and abroad.

Eruption Art Exhibition

Enjoy the exhibits on display at the ‘Eruption’ art exhibition by Anima Gallery and Msheireb Properties. Featuring sculptures, paintings and digital installations amongst others, the exhibition is the work of global artists including emerging talents and established masters showcasing their unique interpretation of “Eruption”. The exhibition is free to attend and will take place till June 10 at Msheireb Downtown Doha.

Launch event for architect Ibrahim Jaidah’s newest publication ‘Discovering Arabian Deco’

Head over to Bin Jelmood Musuem for the launch event of architect Ibrahim Jaidah’s newest publication ‘Discovering Arabian Deco’. At the launch event, you could also enjoy an exhibition featuring elements of the Deco era that emerged in Qatari architecture in the 1950s and 1960s.
