One of the most highly anticipated events in Qatar’s calendar is fast approaching as The Color Run presented by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First is back with its 5th edition at Qatar National Convention Centre this weekend, on Saturday 26th January 2019.

The Color Run - the Happiest 5k on the Planet has been brought to Qatar by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, the flagship public health campaign of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q).

The fifth edition of the 5k brings with it the new Hero Tour theme and encourages all Color Runners to unleash their inner super hero!

With the new Hero Tour theme, discover your super powers at the new Super Zone and experience the sensation of gliding through clouds at the returning Foam Zone. Start in super hero style by wearing the cape and gear provided to you at the beginning of the run and reward yourself with the Unicorn Medal that will be awarded to you at the finish line.

The Color Run has been experienced by over 6 million runners worldwide in more than 35 countries, and it continues to be a leader in the fun running space.

The Color Run’s mission is to bring people together and make the world a happier, healthier place. The Color Run is designed to cater to the enjoyment of all age groups, experience and fitness levels. With no winners or official timings, the sole purpose of the run is to have the most fun every step of the course and stand as the most colorful individual at the finish line.

The number one goal of Color Run is to work with charities to increase cause awareness and shine a light on important issues. By making the Happiest 5k accessible to all ages and all fitness levels, the Color Run has raised over $5m globally for Charity since its launch, while working with hundreds of local organizations.

In Qatar, like every year, a portion of every entry will be donated towards a local charity.

This event is all about splashing colors with friends and family. You can run, walk, crawl, or cartwheel if you wish!

Tickets

As the tickets are selling out fast, those who still wish to purchase the tickets before it's too late, can do so by logging into www.thecolorrun.qa or by purchasing them directly from Qatar National Convention Centre with cash between 2pm and 9pm, Wednesday 23rd – Friday 25th January.

If you registered online, collect your race pack from Qatar National Convention Centre between Wednesday to Friday, 2pm – 9pm.

Arrive for The Color Run at Qatar National Convention Center on 26 January 2019 at 7am, wearing your t-shirt and prepare to finish immersed in colors!
