More rain is expected in the country until tomorrow, the Qatar Met department has said. The weather report also states that isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds are likely in offshore areas.

Different parts of the country, including Doha, received heavy to scattered rain on Monday.

In a statement, the Met department said: "The weather system affecting the country is expected to reactivate between Tuesday noon and Wednesday night with chances of scattered rains, which may become thundery at times over some areas between Tuesday night and Wednesday daytime."

The weather should be a bit more stable by Thursday with a noticeable increase in humidity at night. There is also a forecast for fog over most areas from late at night until Friday morning.

This might be the last few showers before summer sets in the country, so enjoy the rain while it lasts.
