In an effort to promote the concept of a safe and enjoyable experience of holiday homes in Qatar, Qatar Tourism introduces the Holiday Home Regulation Programme. 

Apartment, villa owners, or renters in tourist hotspots or standalone villas in other areas would be able to apply for a license and undergo a classification process based on certain requirements that include quality standards, amenities, health and safety regulations, accessibility criteria, code of conduct and environmental sustainability.

What do you need to know?

When applying for a license, a self-assessment form is required to be completed and submitted with the License Issuance application. This process guarantees that international best practices are adopted by homeowners, offering transparency, safety, and consistency to the sector as well as peace of mind to visitors seeking to explore and experience the unparalleled hospitality of Qatar.

How to apply? 

1. Apply Online

Owners and authorized tenants can now apply for a Holiday Homes license through the e-Services portal of the Qatar tourism website. For the online application process, click here for all the steps in detail. 

2. Where to list your property?

List your holiday home on various platforms safely and successfully and one of the platforms is our website. You can upload your property to www.qatarliving.com for up to a month using our Pay2Publish facility or sign up for one of our longer-term packages if you are a real estate agency or have many properties available.
