As Qatar Foundation students and graduates begin a week-long celebration of their accomplishments, they have had the opportunity to meet a very special visitor: the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

One of sport’s most famous prizes, which is currently touring Qatar, has been displayed at Education City as the home of Qatar Foundation (QF) plays host to Aljam’a, a festival which is bringing together past and present QF students to share their stories and journeys, renew friendships, and build new connections.

Aljam'a will be held in Multaqa (Education City Student Center) through May 12 with a variety of activities available to the public. It takes place during the same week as the annual QF Convocation event, which honors the QF member Hamad Bin Khalifa University's Classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022, as well as QF's partner universities.

QF is devoted to empowering the local community and contributing to a better world for all by establishing a culture of lifelong learning and fostering social involvement through programs that exemplify Qatari culture.
