FILIPINO band, REO Brothers, renowned for almost perfectly resonating the style and voices of the legendary 'The Beatles', will perform at the Al Gharafa Sports Club on April 9.

The international sensation were the first Filipino musicians to perform at the historic Cavern Club in Liverpool, England - the birthplace of The Beatles.

"For those who grew up in the 60s and became crazy over Beatles, this could be a chance to experience once again the same excitement as you watch live the famous Fab Four singing those classic love songs Beatles popularised in their heydays," according to organisers.

The band is composed of 24-year-old Reno Otic on drums, 22-year-old Ron Joseph Otic on lead guitars, 20-year-old Raymart Otic on rhythm guitars and 17-year-old Ralph Otic on bass.

The Otic family originally hails from Tacloban City, the town that was badly hit by super typhoon Haiyan in 2013. [Qatar Tribune]
