Considered as the world’s ‘smartest’ and ‘most sustainable’ city district, Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD), is set to welcome its first tenants soon with the launch of its first residential unit for rent.

Msheireb Properties, Qatar’s national real estate developer and a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation, officially announced the launch, enriching Qatar’s real estate sector with a new destination for leisure, living, and business.

The residential unit called the Wadi 1 residential tower is located in Sikkat Wadi Msheireb at the center of MDD and the longest pedestrian street there.

“We are proud to officially announce the launch of Wadi 1, our first residential unit in MDD. This is a major achievement in line with our goals to redefine the way people live in Qatar, offering them smart and sustainable living solutions," said Ali Al Kuwari, Msheireb Properties CEO.

"We look forward to welcoming the first residents of the all-new MDD, the smartest and most sustainable fully built city district in the world," he said.

With some of Doha’s iconic landmarks just a stone’s throw away from the tower, and a stunning view of Doha’s West Bay skyline, this new housing unit offers a delightful abode to those who wish to enjoy the fusion of Qatar’s rich culture and its modern-day spirit reflected in the use of latest technologies.

The area will soon be home to Galleria Mall, which will house Qatar's first digitally smart Monoprix, in addition to Juniverse, the first 'City in Space' theme park in the world.

Residents at the Wadi 1 tower will be able to delight in some exclusive amenities such as access to two pools, a fully equipped state-of-the-art gym, as well as a clubhouse and private terraces.

Additionally, the tower has a 24-hour security desk, a private lift that travels to the parking and storage rooms at the basement level, a dedicated bicycle parking on the ground floor, and a tram station.

The building comprises 72 spacious, semi-furnished one- to four-bedroom apartments with ensuite bathrooms and closets, in addition to full-height windows and generous balconies.

Designed to advance the idea of smart living, the Wadi 1 apartments come equipped with the latest smart home technologies.

These include home automation with touchscreen displays, a high-speed fiber network, simultaneous use of telecom providers, energy consumption monitoring, full HD video, and audio integration, and modern IP telephony and a video intercom system.
