It is the last weekend of the year! It is filled with exciting events.

We have assembled a list of events happening this weekend for you to explore.

Make sure to take all necessary precautions outlined by MoPH such as wearing protective masks, downloading the Ehteraz application, and maintaining social distancing while you are outside.

1. 5th Mahaseel Festival

Dates: December 23, 2020, to January 2, 2021

Location: Katara Cultural Village

Time: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

The Mahaseel Festival, which lets local farmers directly sell their farm produce to people, is taking place at the Katara Cultural Village from December 23, 2020, to January 2, 2021.

The popular festival, aimed at supporting and promoting the agricultural and livestock sectors in Qatar, has been a massive hit in the past.

The market features Qatari farms selling various types of fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants and local companies offering food products related to livestock, in addition to natural honey and the best varieties of local dates produced by Qatari farms.

The Mahaseel Festival will run every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until March 31, 2020.

2. The International Handicrafts & Traditional Productions Cultural Market

Dates: November 4, 2020, to February 4, 2021

Where: Building 48, Katara Cultural Village

Time: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm

The First Edition of the International Handicrafts & Traditional Productions Cultural Market is taking place every Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm

3. ‘Mal Lawal 3 Cars’ Exhibition

Dates: Until August 2021

Where: National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ)

Time: Saturday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm

The classic cars edition, ‘Mal Lawal 3 Cars’ exhibition is underway at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).

Mal Lawal is a unique platform that celebrates collecting and bringing together private collectors from Qatar to showcase their collectibles.

The exhibition features a selection of cars from two established local car collectors from December 17 to August 2021. Every three months the displayed cars will be changed

4. "Ibn Rayb" Cultural Street

Dates: December 31, 2021

Where: Katara Cultural Village

Time: 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Entry: Entry is free for all

The "Ibn Rayb" Cultural Street event will be held at Katara Cultural Village, behind the amphitheater in cooperation with the Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum.

5. Marmi Festival 2021

Dates: January 1 to January 30

Where: Mesaieed (Sealine)

One of the largest falconry and hunting festivals in the region, the Marmi Festival is all set to take place from January 1.

Known as the Marmi Festival, the event is aimed at preserving and promoting the sport of falconry, which is held in high regard in Arab culture.

The month-long festival is taking place at Sabkhat Marmi in the Sealine area and brings together a large number of falcon and hunting enthusiasts.
