Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, the grandfather of the current Emir of Qatar has passed away.

The funeral prayers for Sheikh Khalifa will be on Monday after the Asr prayer at the State Mosque in Doha.
The time for Asr athan is 2:34pm for Doha and the surrounding areas.
Three days of national mourning has been declared, from Monday to Wednesday.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani was the the former Qatari Emir and passed away on Sunday aged 84.
He ruled Qatar from 1972 until 1995.
