Fuel prices in Qatar will witness a rise from tomorrow, August 1, according to the new price list unveiled by Qatar Petroleum (QP) today.
From tomorrow, a liter of Premium Gasoline will cost QR1.80, going 10 dirhams up from QR1.70 in July.
The new price of Super Gasoline is set at QR1.90 a liter in August, 15 dirhams more than the price maintained for the month of July that was QR1.75.
Reflecting a similar increase, one liter of diesel will be available for QR1.90 in August whereas the cost of one liter of diesel in July remained QR1.85.

Earlier, residents and citizens of Qatar were relieved at decreased fuel prices in July after months of fuel price escalation.
April 2019 saw a stark increase in fuel prices that went up by 25 dirhams in contrast to fuel prices in March. May witnessed a further rise in fuel prices with no change in June.

Qatar Petroleum has been announcing the monthly fuel price list since September 2017.
When the first list was announced in June 2016 the premium petrol was QR1.20 per liter, super QR1.30 per liter and diesel QR1.40 per liter.
