Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met Dr Maria Luisa, Head of the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa Program at the Institute of International Affairs, in Riyadh on August 24.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed regional developments and stressed the importance of de-escalation and promoting security and stability through diplomacy and constructive dialogue.
They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest, with particular focus on relations between the GCC states and Italy.
The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening communication and cooperation between the GCC states and Italy.
