Ghoson Spa and Wellness opens its doors

Ghoson Spa and Wellness had its opulent opening earlier this month, with a beautifully organised evening at its venue in Al Wakrah. With a live violin performance and dazzling reception, the spa did truly live up to its name.

Ghoson is a women’s-only, state of the art members’ club in a luxurious and comfortable venue, with many unique functions and services provided.

The spa is made to be an elegant retreat for women seeking to bring harmony and well-being to their busy lives through relaxation and renewal. Opening hours are between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm daily.

The Ghoson team focuses on all elements of the spa experience with the belief that the guest experience is not limited simply to treatment, but that each interaction with their team is an integral part of a wholesome spa journey.

Started by a young Qatari Couple, the first Ghoson Beauty Center was established in 1991 in the city of Al Wakrah. At the time, beauty salons were sparse, and simpler means of beauty were available. Hair straightening, as an example, was still performed using a laundry iron at some private homes that open their doors for customers.

Therefore, when established, Ghoson Beauty Center was considered one of the first modern ladies salon in the city of Al Wakrah, and amongst the pioneers of the beauty industry in Qatar.

Ghoson provides treatments from all over the world with a local flavour, inspired by traditions of Qatar.

Every treatment combines sophisticated massage and skincare techniques with the use of exclusive, scientifically advanced products that use natural ingredients of the highest quality and purity; blends of essential oils and plant extracts chosen for their specific properties and applied with relevance to your individual needs.
