You’ve seen the Angry Birds do their stuff in a game, you’ve seen them bicker in an animated movie, and you will soon be able to join them and immerse yourself in the thrill ride of a lifetime.
This is because in a global first, an Angry Birds World theme park is set to open at the Doha Festival City (DFC) soon, reported Gulf Times.
The Angry Birds World is a concept introduced and developed by Trimoo, in collaboration with Talal bin Mohamed Trading and Rovio Entertainment Corporation.
The theme park, designed and developed over a sprawling 17,000SqM area at DFC, will draw visitors into a maddening adventure with the furious flock through a range of over 20 high-thrill rides for all ages, according to The Peninsula.
The park will also have a large array of food and beverage outlets, retail shops, edutainment activities and a host of attractions that will engage and entertain the whole family, reported Qatar Tribune.
“Our objective has always been to deliver more than just entertainment. We believe that with creativity, innovation, game and design thinking we can revolutionise the way people experience the world,” Trimoo CEO Riad Makdessi said.
Earlier, there had been reports that DFC was preparing to open up to four new theme parks in its vicinity.
