The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Istanbul University has contributed to Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s mission to facilitate positive transformation at home while having a global and regional impact.
The MoU, signed on September 20, will allow both parties to collaborate on research projects and studies, jointly contribute to academic and scientific publications and exchange scholarly documents. To encourage partner-driven cooperation, both parties will regularly exchange research and teaching staff.
The MoU also paves the way for joint extracurricular activities in academic and scientific fields, such as certificate courses, conferences and symposia. Undergraduate and graduate students are expected to benefit from this agreement and will offer opportunities for doctoral students to collaborate with counterparts, up to and including the writing of a co-supervised doctoral thesis.
