The Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced that it will be looking to recruit graduate midwives and nurses from all specialties who are currently living in Qatar

HMC will hold its first ‘Open Day for Graduate Nurses in Doha’ on July 19 at the Bayt Al Diyafah, Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City, to enable interested candidates to submit their applications, reported Gulf Times.

In order to be considered for employment, candidates must have a BSc Nursing with a minimum of two years of appropriate work experience, Valid Qatar ID, valid Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) credentials and have passed the prometric examinations and a No objection certificate (NOC), or the ability to obtain one, according to The Peninsula.

Only candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered for positions, the HMC said. Candidates should bring along their Qatar ID and curriculum vitae (CV) on the day, as well as any appropriate certificates and paperwork.

HMC will hold three sessions for interested candidates — from 8am to 9am, 10am to 11am and 12 noon to 1pm. These are repeated sessions and a candidate will have to attend only one of the. The sessions, which does not need any advance registration, will be used to provide information about available roles and the HMC in general, reported Qatar Tribune.

Interested candidates will be able to submit their applications and CVs during the sessions.

There are currently more than 9,000 nurses and midwives working at HMC. Newly recruited nurses will cover a variety of specialities, supporting the current nursing and midwifery workforce.
