The updated SAK application, which Qatar’s Ministry of Justice recently launched, is turning out to be a boon for many. It simplifies and streamlines many government services that used to take days and multiple visits to the Ministry to complete.

The Ministry of Justice said the app’s new version now includes e-services for the real estate registration and documentation sector. Digital transformation services and transactions enable citizens and residents to complete transactions electronically without visiting the ministry.

The app provides easy services and smooth procedures for all beneficiaries — both within and outside Qatar — dealing with the Ministry of Justice. It also enhances the overall user experience.

The app will also provide all services, regulations, laws, and applications — including the Absher service application, real estate appraiser application, and the real estate bulletin — within the SAK interface. It will save users the hassle of accessing multiple applications and instead provide all services in a single one.

The application will display detailed property data by scanning the QR code available on title deeds. The property location will be pinpointed on the GIS mapping system by scanning the QR code and clicking on the survey number.

The upgraded version of SAK will also allow, for the first time, the completion of several transactions electronically. Legal documents or the paper copy of the transaction (after completion of procedures) will be available via Qatar Post. The automated services include issuing a replacement title deed, correcting the owner’s name, and correcting property type.  

These transactions are received via Qatar Post, without the need to visit the ministry or its service offices.

The new application will allow users to apply for a property disclosure transaction and receive it via email.
