The two leaders also underlined the significance of activating the Qatar-Jordanian Supreme Joint Committee and enhancing cooperation in the areas of energy, infrastructure, and higher education.
This will be implemented soon as the two sides agreed that the University of Jordan would offer academic courses under the umbrella of Lusail University coupled with an exchange of expertise to take place amid Qatar’s preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
HH the Amir directed the creation of 10,000 job opportunities in Qatar for Jordanian nationals, in addition to the 10,000 job opportunities that were announced in August 2018, and the support of the Jordanian military retirement fund with $30 million. #QNA

Qatar will create at least 10,000 job opportunities for Jordanian nationals, according to HH the Amir’s directive. A center is to be created for this purpose to help enable the process.
The decision complements the 10,000 job opportunities announced in August 2018.
Additionally, Qatar will support Jordan’s military retirement fund with a $30 million grant.

Furthermore, the session between the two leaders also covered some regional and international issues of mutual concern, including the Palestinian issue.
