HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Manila on Sunday as part of his state visit to three friendly Asian countries — The Philippines, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Upon his arrival at the Maharlika Presidential Airport (Villamor Air Base), Sheikh Tamim was welcomed by the Philippines’s Secretary of Energy Raphael Perpetuo Lotilla, Qatar’s Ambassador to The Philippines HE Ahmed bin Saad Al Hamidi, Philippines Ambassador to Qatar HE Lilibeth Velasco Puno and a number of other senior government officials.

Sheikh Tamim, who will stay in the country until Monday, will next visit Bangladesh before ending the tour in Nepal.
