His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani received the message, during his meeting today with HE Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
This is another positive sign that the Gulf crisis may be thawing, following the participation of the national teams of the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in the Arabian Gulf Cup currently underway in Qatar.
Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al Jarallah said on Monday evening that Kuwait hopes the Gulf summit would be represented at the highest level, expressing optimism about a near healing of the Gulf rift and resolving differences among Arabian "Gulf brothers," according to Xinhua.
