This will be the second time HH The Amir will speak at the UN after imposition of the illegal siege on Qatar by neighbouring countries.
Despite the illegal siege, Qatar tied up with different nations around the world and started to shore up their food production, meeting most of its needs internally.
The country has also called on dialogue and discussions among nations as a way of moving forward from all problems, reported The Peninsula.
Major nations around the world have acknowledged Qatar’s contributions towards the eradication of terror. The latest example for it was an annual report recently published by the US Department of State, which lauded Qatar’s measures to combat terrorism and its funding.
Qatar is also likely to push for a permanent solution to the Palestinian issue and call for an end to Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital, reported Qatar Tribune.
Qatar, which also supports the cause of the Syrian people, will call for working seriously to reach a political solution to this issue.
Qatar also calls upon the international community to cooperate and work to prevent the impunity of war criminals wherever they may be.
