HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Dr. Ali Larijani at his office in the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, in addition to discussing developments in the region, and efforts to reduce tensions and enhance regional security and a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and several other senior officials also attended the meeting.

From the Iranian side, it was attended by Supreme National Security Council Deputy Secretary Dr. Ali Bagheri, Assistant Foreign Minister Alibek and several other senior officials.
