The Medical Reports Online Service, which is presently available for all healthcare institutions managed by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), has been encouraged to be used by the public.
The Executive Director of Media Relations at HMC, Nayef Al Shammari, described the Medical Reports Online Service as a user-friendly online service for patients requesting copies of their medical reports. A hard copy of the medical report will be delivered to the applicant at their doorstep through Qatar Post.
Patients can submit applications on the HMC website to seek a medical report for themselves or on behalf of another individual. To obtain your OTP pin number for application verification, however, make sure your cell phone is listed under your Hamad Health Card.
The applicant must be at least 18 years old and must have valid authorization for the request and dissemination of information. Parents can obtain a medical report for their kid or grandchild, adult children for their parents or grandparents, siblings, spouses, and guardians can also apply with the necessary documents.
When filing an online request, the patient or their representative must give some papers and information such as their Qatar ID, health card number, cellphone number, and email address, as well as payment by credit card.
Medical reports can be requested by submitting an application through the HMC website, HMC, in either Arabic or English, where the applicant selects "Medical Report Page" and inputs the necessary information.
Fees can also be paid using a secure gateway provided by Qatar National Bank.

Once the report application has been finalized, the applicant will have the choice of having a paper copy of the medical report delivered to their doorstep for a small cost paid to Qatar Post, or requesting the report through email.
It can take up to 14 days to process a medical report. It takes around three working days to get a copy of a laboratory/diagnostic report.
You can also pick up the Medical Report at the office on the 2nd Floor of the Women's Wellness and Research Center, which is open from 7 am. to 3 pm Sunday through Thursday.
When you submit your request for a medical report, you can also request home delivery.
Individuals interested in the report can obtain further information by emailing ReleaseofInformation@hamad.qa, phoning 40251563/ 40251564 / 40251566 from 7 am to 3 pm, Sunday through Thursday, or contacting the Nesma'ak customer care helpdesk at 16060.
HMC introduced Medical Reports Online Service in November 2020 in response to public demand for more simple methods to get personal medical information.
Obtaining medical reports previously required a patient or their representative to visit one of HMC's hospitals to first submit the request, then wait to pay the price at a cashier's counter, and finally return to get the paperwork.
