Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) updated the visitor policy for non-COVID-19 hospitals today.

According to the new policy, the visiting hours will be from 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm daily.

- All visitors must present a ‘green’ health code on the Ehteraz app and wear a face mask all the time.

- Visitors will also undergo a temperature check at the entrance.

- Only one visitor is allowed at a time for a maximum of one hour with a maximum of 3 visitors a day during public visiting hours. Escorts are not allowed.

- Food, flowers, beverages, and chocolates are not allowed to be brought into the facilities, and children under 15 years old are not permitted to visit patients.

No visitors will be permitted in the designated COVID-19 hospitals: the Communicable Disease Center, Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital, The Cuban Hospital, and Mesaieed Hospital.
