The State of Qatar has announced that as per an agreement as part of the ongoing mediation, the humanitarian pause in the Gaza strip will be extended by another two days.

The announcement was made on the X account of Dr Majed Al Ansari, Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The extension of the pause is to deliver additional aid into the strip and release the largest possible number of hostages and prisoners.

Al Ansari expressed the State of Qatar’s hope that the humanitarian pause will lead to a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and stop the blood of civilians.
