The country’s Met Department has said that thundershowers are expected in the country today, along with strong winds and low visibility, reported Gulf Times.

However, they have not issued any warnings for offshore areas.

The weather report also stated that northwesterly-northeasterly winds will blow at 5 to 15 knots, reaching a high of 25 knots during thundery rain. Visibility will also drop to 3km or less in some places at times.

Hazy to misty conditions are likely in some places in the early hours of the day. This is to be followed by a hot day, and there is a chance of local rain cloud formation.

A maximum temperature of 37C is expected in Doha and Al Khor. The minimum will be 24C in Mesaieed, Al Wakrah and Abu Samra, and 29C in Doha.
