Katara’s Cultural Village Foundation has opened the registrations for the second edition of the Arabian Horse Festival. The three categories are Arabian Peninsula Horse Show, Arabian Horse Auction, and the Title Show. The registrations are open until December 31, 2021. The festival will kickstart from February 2-12, 2022.
The Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF) is organized by Katara, Qatar Equestrian Federation, and Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club. Registration fees differ from category to category.
The Arabian Peninsula Horse Show will be judged by a panel of 11 judges who will score the horses based on their type, neck, head, body, topline, legs, and movement. Any Egyptian horse registered in the World Arabian Horse Organization (WAHO) recognized studbook is eligible to participate. This program is to be held from February 3 to February 5, 2022.
The second program—The Katara purebred Arabian horses Qualifier auction—is February 7, 2022. The auction allows horse owners, breeders, and equine enthusiasts to purchase superior purebred Arabian horses. The creatures on sale are among the finest Arabians and have previously won in renowned equestrian championships.
