The third edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF) featuring some of the finest purebred Arabian horses is scheduled to take place in February next year. Katara announced via twitter that the festival will take place from February 1 to February 11 next year at the Katara Cultural Village grounds under three segments including the Arabian Peninsula Horse Show, The Arabian Horse Auction and the Title Show.

The festival will also include a number of competitions and events such as the horse parade, Equine stamps and photography exhibition and light show on the Katara esplanade and amphitheater

Katara added that individuals interested in taking part in the festival’s poetry competition have until December 31, 2022 to register via the KIAHF website while those interested in displaying their horse’s at the festival should register by December 25, 2022.

The festival organized by Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, and Qatar Equestrian Federation aims to support Qatar’s rich equestrian heritage and provide a platform to promote the uniqueness of the purebred Arabian horses worldwide.

Held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the festival is a world class event and a symbol of strength, originality and pride.
