The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) yesterday announced closure of one lane on each of the two bridges leading to D-Ring Road in Al Maamoura. The closure is for periodic maintenance of expansion joints.
The first bridge extends from Al Asiri Interchange to Al Maamoura and the second parallel bridge extends from Haloul Street at Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Interchange to Al Maamoura. The closure will be implemented in two phases to reduce the effect of works on traffic flow in the area.
The first phase will include the closure of the left lane on both bridges from January 23 to 30, while the right lane will remain open.
