If you haven't visited the ongoing 4th Local Dates Festival yet, today is the day to do so as the festival draws to end tonight.
The festival, which kicked off on July 23 at Souq Waqif, saw more than 38,000 visitors and recorded sales of over 130 tonnes of dates, until Thursday.

More than 80 local farms took part in the festival, offering some of the finest locally-produced dates such as Al Khalas, Al Shichi, and Al Khunaizi.
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment together with Souq Waqif management organized the festival as part of its endeavors to promote locally-grown products and help local farmers find the ideal market for dates.
