Qatar’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced a recall of Mitsubishi Pajero vehicles produced between 2007 and ’16. The models have been found to have a potential defect in the driver’s seat air bag inflator.
The Ministry, in collaboration with Qatar Automobiles Company, the dealers of Mitsubishi vehicles in Qatar, will follow up on maintenance and repair works of the defective vehicles, reported The Peninsiula.
The dealer will also communicate with customers to ensure that necessary repairs are carried out.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicles' defects and repair them.
