The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Monitoring and Environmental Laboratory Department of the Environmental Affairs Sector, in coordination with the health authorities and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), moved Mobile Air Quality Monitoring Station to COVID-19 Drive-Through Vaccination Centre in Lusail.

This aims to monitoring and controlling the air quality around the center continuously and around the clock, as a specialized team from the Environmental Monitoring Department and the Environmental Laboratory conducted a prior study of the site and chose the appropriate place to monitor the air quality before moving the mobile station to it.

These efforts come within the framework of ensuring air quality according to the highest international standards, as well as the important role in educating the public about the importance of preserving and sustaining the environment and ensuring the monitoring of the surrounding air quality.

COVID-19 drive-through vaccination center opened in Lusail last week. Its opening represents an important vaccination program where the center provides the second dose of vaccine to eligible people.

The vaccination process for visitors in the new center includes registration and assessment, vaccination, and observation.

HMC operates this center in collaboration with Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC).
