The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has begun delivering ration cards to people's homes via Qatar Post, allowing them to receive a ration card without having to contact the Ministry's Department of Supply and Strategic Inventory.

Citizens who prefer to use this delivery service can pay the fees with a bank card, whether it's an ATM card or a credit card, via the electronic services program on the Ministry's website when they choose to have the card delivered via postal services.

Moreover, if the beneficiary does not get the card, it is returned to the Ministry's competent department.

The request for the ration card to be mailed to citizens is optional, as the card can be obtained from the Ministry's responsible department. The initiative is part of the Ministry's efforts to improve citizen services and streamline procedures.

When applying for a new card or requesting a replacement for a lost or damaged card, individuals can pay the QR 50 ration card issuance charge via the Ministry's electronic ration services program.
