Qatar has been working to the best of its capabilities to ensure the good health and safety of its citizens and residents in current times.

As the country continues to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) takes measures to control the prices of vegetables and fruits at the retail outlets until June 13, 2020, subject to extension.

According to the notice posted in the tweet, each violator will be subject to the penalties stipulated in applicable laws, decisions, and regulations.

This adds to the series of efforts MOCI has taken in recent days as Qatar intensifies its fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Consumers can report any violations of these decisions via the number 16001 or email: infomoci.gov.qa. They can also reach out to the Ministry through its official social media channels.
