The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) had recently announced that individuals without access to a car can take their second dose in a taxi at the Lusail COVID-19 drive-through vaccination center.

Since people on foot are not allowed to take the vaccine, those who arrive at the drive-through center are required to choose a suitable car so that the vaccination process can take place.

Individuals who do not own a car will be allowed to arrive in a taxi to receive their second dosage.

Those who are scheduled to receive their second dose may go directly to the drive-through center on the specified day without the need for an appointment.

The Lusail Drive-Through Center is open from 11 am till 10 pm throughout the week and the last entrance to receive the dose is at 9 pm.

Individuals who wish to receive their second dose at the center will be attended to on a first-come-first-serve basis.

As a result, it is expected that one will need to be prepared and patient if there is a lot of traffic. It is recommended that people arrive between 2 pm and 7 pm for the fastest and most effective experience.

Moreover, it has been identified that the busiest time of operation is between 11 am and 1 pm based on the first week of delivering the COVID-19 vaccine.

Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will schedule eligible people for their second dose at the drive-through center, at the time of their first dose appointment at health centers.

Located behind the Lusail Multipurpose Hall, the drive-through center is open from 11 am to 10 pm every day.
