Mowasalat (Karwa) and QNB Group have announced their collaboration aimed at enhancing mobile payment solutions in Qatar.

The initiative aims to promote the use of Apple Pay and Google Pay services, which will secure payments via Touch ID, Face ID, and other methods on compatible iOS and Android devices.

Currently, customers who already own activated Apple and Google Pay accounts will be able to pay for their Karwa fare through the system, until the service is approved local bank in Qatar.

The partnership marks Mowasalt as the first merchant to enable this service in Qatar, while QNB will become the Mastercard Payment Gateway Services provider, offering its customers mobile payment solutions that are compatible with the best international standards.
