The christening of MSC Cruises' newest flagship, MSC World Europa, will take place on November 13 in Doha, the capital of Qatar, at the new Grand Cruise Terminal, according to a joint announcement by MSC Cruises and Qatar Airways. Tevent demonstrates MSC's dedication to Qatar and the expanding significance of the Middle East, where MSC Cruises dominates the market and supports Qatar's aim to triple the amount of foreign tourists visiting the country in 2030.
"We are incredibly proud that in November we will baptize our most innovative cruise ship, as well as the largest in the world with low environmental impact, in Doha. MSC World Europa represents the future of cruises, a new concept that will offer our guests an unmatched and unforgettable cruise experience, which is why the launch event will take place in one of the seven new Urban Cruise Hubs," said Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman of the Cruise Division of the MSC Group.
He further stated, "As we observe a rise in interest from our guests to travel to this culturally extremely rich and yet entirely unexplored corner of the world, Qatar will continue to play a crucial role in our expansion plan in the Gulf region. I also want to express my gratitude to Qatar Airways for our collaborative collaboration and for helping to make this event a reality."
The MSC World Europa will be the biggest and greenest passenger ship to depart from Doha, and for the winter of 2022–2023, it will take passengers from all over the world from all over the Middle East.
