Muslim World League Condemns Continued Houthi Attacks on Saudi Civilian Objects

The Muslim World League strongly condemned the Houthi group's continued aggression against civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its repeated targeting of Muslim holy sites and their holiest places (Makkah and Madinah), the capital Riyadh, and the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, Najran, Taif and Yanbu, as well as its continued targeting of the Kingdom's vessels in the southern Red Sea and the Bab Al-Mandab Strait.

In a statement issued on Monday, the League renewed its denunciation of these attacks, which violate all religious values and international and humanitarian laws and norms. It affirmed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter the aggressors and safeguard its security, national assets, and the safety of its citizens and residents, as well as in fulfilling its duty of neighbourliness and brotherhood by supporting the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership in restoring stability to the Yemeni state and its constitutional institutions and extending its sovereignty over all its territory.
